Information Collected

TextAgent collects the information needed to provide the SMS assistant service: your phone number, name provided during setup, optional weather location, message content, AI replies, requested reminders, service preferences, opt-in status, and opt-out status.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to send SMS replies, provide weather results, schedule requested reminders, maintain preferences, confirm SMS opt-in and opt-out status, troubleshoot issues, and operate the TextAgent service.

SMS Program Details

Message frequency varies based on your use. TextAgent replies when you text the service and sends reminder notifications only when you request them.

Service Providers

Message content may be processed by service providers used to operate TextAgent, including Twilio for SMS and voice delivery, Google Gemini for AI answers, and Perplexity when selected as an AI provider.

SMS Consent and Sharing

TextAgent does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Data Storage

TextAgent stores account data, conversation history, reminders, and SMS consent status in the hosted TextAgent service database. Production data is hosted in Railway infrastructure and accessed only by the TextAgent operator for service operation, support, troubleshooting, and account management. Data is retained while the account is active unless deletion is requested.
